Project AWARE Summer Film Institute (SFI)

MAKE A FILM IN A WEEK. Project AWARE Summer Film Institute (SFI) is a student-led week-long narrative filmmaking experience. You’ll be working with an award-winning director, Michael Nickles, and professional editors and technicians. Students will assume all the roles that are typical in making a Hollywood movie. A story topic and script will have been developed by students in April, working with Nickles, and those participating in SFI will get a chance to shape the script before filming.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID! Thanks to the Warren Memorial Foundation, we have 3 scholarships for Westbrook High School Students. Please contact us if your need assistance with the tuition at or by calling 207-370-9130.

ENGINE is teaming up with Project AWARE to bring you the 2018 Summer Film Institute.
